La Habra Christian Church members contribute financially to support this ministry.

In September 1956, John and Marge Pemberton set foot on Zimbabwe soil with their three children Sherman, Pamela and John Mark. Neither Bob, the youngest, nor the Worldwide Web were a glimmer on the horizon.

They began ministering to the people there, thus creating the Mashoko/Hippo Valley Christian Mission

Sherman, who is the pastor of La Habra Christian Church, began preaching in Zimbabwe at age 11. The ministry's U.S. base is Grayson, KY.
